Ely’s Peak Will Be Next Women Hike Duluth Event

Women Hike Duluth is a group that organizes scenic walks for women across the Northland. Their 4th organized walk will take place Saturday, October 20 at Ely's Peak.

The hike, which will be about 3 miles, is scheduled from 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. If you'd like to participate, you are asked to meet at the Beck's Road Parking lot.  To get there from I-35, take Midway Road Exit #246.  You'll then travel south on Midway/Beck's Road for 2.7 miles.

Ely's Peak is steep and rocky, with an easier descent on the loop trail.  Please make sure you have good hiking shoes and a water bottle.  Please note that there are no restrooms on site.

This event is free and there is no need to register ahead of time, just show up October 20 ready to go.  If the weather doesn't cooperate, the event will be rescheduled for Saturday, November 3 from 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.
