Esko Football Player to be Honored at Vikings Game as Part of 2015 All-State High School Team
Jaxson Turner of the Esko Eskomos will represent the Twin Ports region as a member of the 2015 All-State High School Football Team, as announced by the Minnesota Vikings today.
The team consists of 30 of the best high school players in the state; selected by a committee of sportswriters, Vikings staff members, broadcasters, and high school football coaches from around Minnesota.
Turner who is a multi-sport athlete at Esko, will join the rest of the All-State Team in being honored at halftime of this weekend's Vikings game against the Seattle Seahawks at TCF Bank Stadium in the Twin Cities.
Here's a highlight of Turner returning a kickoff for a touchdown in a game against Crosby-Ironton this fall for the Eskomos. The return would eventually go on to be featured by ESPN.
