I'm a meat eater, always have been.  I've tried before taking a month off of eating meat, and I did it but I didn't like it.  I went gluten free for a month just because to see if I could do it and I did, but didn't like it.  I'm just over the threshold of having Type 2 Diabetes so I in general attempt to eat healthier but it's not always easy.

One of the diets I looked at before but never tried was a whole foods only plant based diet.  I just haven't yet because well, meat.  The is a talk coming up that discusses the benefits of this kind of diet and it's free to attend.

Dr. Jason Buffington who is a family-practice physician recommends and promotes a whole-foods plant-based diet for many of his patients.  In his discussion you can find out why, and how you might benefit from eating this way.

It's Monday, March 4th, 2019 from 6:30PM-7:30PM at the Mount Royal Library in Duluth located at 105 Mt. Royal Shopping Circle.
