Firefighting and Truck Driving Career Night Wednesday at Lake Superior College

If you're looking for a new career, a free event this week at Lake Superior College might just provide that spark you've been searching for.

This Wednesday, February 8, Lake Superior College will host a free Firefighting and Truck Driving Career Night.

You'll be able to hear about these careers first-hand from professionals in truck driving and firefighting.  You'll have the opportunity to go for a ride in a semi-truck with a professional trucker, learn the proper way to extinguish a fire, witness a trauma simulation call with EMTs, and check out LSC's fleet of firefighting and tucking rigs.

These hands-on experiences and more will be available Wednesday night from 5 p.m. - 8 p.m. at the LSC Emergency Response Training Center, 11501 Highway 23, Duluth.
