First Look At Rogue Eagle Mini Golf Course In Proctor
Rogue Eagle Mini Golf is a premier outdoor mini golf that is new to the Northland. With 18 themed holes, this new course is located in Proctor.
You can find the fun and challenging course at 26 Waterview Drive up in Proctor. They are currently in a "soft opening" stage as they wait for the parking lot to be paved and other construction to be finished.
Luke Lindstrom and his business partner, who is also his mom have been wanting to do something like this for a long time. They traveled all over the states checking out different ideas to start getting some of their own flowing. The name was almost Bird & Bogeys, but was later changed to its current name, Rogue Eagle. This course has so many cool themes from a Vegas themed hole where you can choose to spin an optional roulette wheel to a fun Indy themed hole to a hockey themed hole and even a pirate themed hole.
Cooper and myself got to try out the 18 hole course and it was a lot of fun. I absolutely loved each theme and even got a hole-in-one. Despite the hole-in-one, Cooper did end up winning. I did think some of the holes were challenging, but not in a frustrating way. I will definitely be coming back and will be bringing the family for some outdoor family fun.
There are a few rules on the course:
- Stroke limit is 6 per hole.
- One stroke penalty for an out of bounds hit. You may place the ball one club head away from where the ball went out.
- If the sides or obstacles are preventing putting, you may move the ball one club head away.
- Please stay on the walkway and the props are hands off.
- Also, no full swings, smoking, profanity, or horseplay.
According to their Facebook page, They are open every day from 10am - 8pm. They are currently operating under a temporary occupancy permit until their construction wraps up. If you do have some time, I would definitely make the trip to Proctor to check it out. I cannot wait for their grand opening!
