Former Vikings head coach Mike Tice will take over the offense of the Chicago Bears according to the organization.  He replaces Mike Martz after he and the Bears parted ways earlier this week.

Tice is heading into his 30th season in the NFL, 14 years playing the game and 16 years coaching the game.  Tice was a Vikings coach from 1996-2005, the final 4 years of those as the head coach. He spent 4 years with the Jacksonville Jaguars before joining the Bears.
