Grandma’s Marathon and Garry Bjorklund Half Marathon 2018 Photo Gallery and Winners

The 42nd running of Grandma’s Marathon and the 28th running of the Garry Bjorklund Half Marathon are in the books! Cool, foggy conditions near 50 degrees helped runners with the course; which was modified this year due to road construction along Superior Street in Downtown Duluth.

In the men's division of Grandma's Marathon, Elisha Barno scored his fourth consecutive win in the race. Barno's 2018 performance was his best winning time of all four Grandma's victories, and also marks the first time a runner has collected four first place finishes in Grandma's Marathon.

On the women's side of Grandma's Marthon, Kellyn Taylor set a new event record for the race, coming in almost two minutes under the previous record time of 2:26:32 set in 2013 by Sarah Kiptoo.
