The annual motorcycle run on the North Shore of Minnesota will take place on Saturday September 18, 2021. The proceeds benefit the Heather Rose Foundation which provides scholarships to local students by raising money with events throughout the year.

The foundation was started after parents Amanda and Jeremy lost their daughter Heather Rose in a tragic car accident in 2018. They wanted to honor her tremendous love for helping people. The scholarships given out are designed to help kids chase their dreams whether they are planning on attending college, working in trades, or enlisting in the military. They designed these scholarships to be open to everyone.

The motorcycle run starts at Tracks and Racks at 1012 Main Street in Beavery Bay. Registration begins at 11am and the kickstands are up at 12:30pm. There will also be a silent auction, raffles, and food at the end. You can find out more information on their Facebook page.

If you don't have a motorcycle, you are welcome to follow on the run in your car, or also just join in for the fun following the ride. Spread the word and bring your friends out to support this great cause.

If you would like more information on the scholarship or how to apply you can contact Jeremy Valerius at 218-393-6515. You can also e-mail the foundation at heatherrosescholarship@gmail.com.
