Here’s A List Of Superior’s 2019 Street Projects

Living in the Northland, we all know what summer brings:  road construction season!  Due to the extremely cold and snowy winters we get, maintenance crews only get so many months out of the year to squeeze in the work they need to get done - whether it's repairs or total replacement.  Already this spring, news sources have been trumpeting the major highway and bridge projects that they have on their docket.

But what about a little closer to home? What about the City of Superior's street and sidewalk repair schedule?

A quick peek at the city's official website gives us all of the information we need.  The City of Superior has an aggressive and busy schedule of street and sidewalk projects ready to be worked on during the summer (and early fall) of 2019.

Here's a rundown:

ASPHALT OVERLAY:

• Elm - Between N 12th and Winter
• N 13th St - Between Cedar and Elm
• 4th Ave E - Between E 5th and the tracks
• 21st Ave E - Between E 10th and E 11th
• 23rd Ave E - Between E 11 and E 12
• Banks Ave - Between N 63rd and N 64th
• Weeks Ave - Between N 58th and the ballfield

MILL & ASPHALT OVERLAY:

• Baxter - Between Belknap and N 13th
• Fisher - Between Belknap and N 13th
• N 14th - Between Fisher and the post office lot
• N 14th - Between Grand and Cumming
• N 14th - Between Ogden and Hughitt
• Lamborn - Between N 21 and Belknap
• Lincoln - Between Catlin and Fisher
• N 19th - Between Weeks and Cumming
• N 16 - Between Lamborn and Hammond
• N 22 - Between Hughitt and John
• N 20 - Between John and Ogden
• N 17 - Between Tower and John
• N 16 - Between John and Hughitt
• John - Between N 16 and Belknap
• Oakes - Between N 16 and N 18
• Hammond - Between N 21 and N 28
• N 19 - Between Lamborn and Baxter
