If you're running in any of the Grandma's Marathon races, you are probably already feeling the nerves! The big weekend is just over a week away and the excitement is definitely in the air.

Whether running in the full or taking part in the William A. Irvin 5K, there is something for everyone. That even goes for your young ones!

About The Races

The 5th Annual Turtle Trot will take place at Great Lakes Aquarium on Friday, June 21st! This Whipper Snapper race will have your little one running a short distance, complete with a bib number, finisher medal and goodie bag filled with treats.

The race will kick of at 2 p.m. and is for 'turtle athletes at a turtle speed' so no pressure here - just good, old-fashioned Duluth fun!

There are different age brackets that will run different lengths. Registration is available on-site prior to the event but you are encouraged to sign your child up online in advance.

You can also visit the event booth the same day from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Bayfront Festival Park. There will also be a bounce house, other inflatables, live animals, a climbing wall and more.

This event is just one of many incredible things happening that week. It's one of the very best, if not the best, weekends in Duluth! This is the perfect way to get the whole family involved in Grandma's Marathon weekend.
