Harold’s Hogfest Returns This September
Harold's Fiasco is all wrapped up and that means it is time for the next "Harold" event benefitting St. Jude Children's Research Hospital! Next up is Harold's Hogfest, where you basically eat a delicious homemade meal for the great cause.
The event will take place on Saturday, September 9th. It kicks off at noon and goes until 5 p.m at the Carlton VFW. The Carlton VFW is located at 124 Chestnut Road. Take it from me, the food is delicous!

You probably figured, based on the name, that pulled pork is the main attraction here. There is always a delicious menu to go with it, with beans, dinner rolls and incredible dessert. The meat is donated by Carlton Meats and Grocery for the great cause.
All you have to do to support is stop by. You don't have to purchase a ticket or anything in advance. You simply show up and pay seven bucks for the plate of food. All proceeds benefit St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, like all other events put on by Harold Ankrum and family in Minnesota.

Harold is a legend in the Northland, as he has raised hundreds of thousands of dollars over the years for St. Jude. He puts on several events throughout the calendar year, from a pancake feed to the golf scramble to a Christmas tree fundraiser each December.
He has done so much for the kids of St. Jude over the years that he was even honored by the organization in 2022. He was provided a commemorative plaque as a surprise, along with a special brick with his name on it on hospital grounds in Memphis. Incredible!
