I've heard rumors about a national chain restaurant coming to Superior on Belknap Street near downtown. I've also heard other people say that it might be a laundromat. It turns out all of them are true, and we will soon have a brand new development in Superior.

The location is 1612 & 1624 Belknap Street. There was an old bank there which was demolished earlier this week. It's across the street from Northland Chevrolet and just a block from the Superior Public Library.

I did some digging and found that the property is owned by Linn Developments, LLC. I reached out to them to ask if they can address the rumors, and they surprisingly got back to me right away with some great news for noodle lovers.

The development of the property will be done in two phases. The first is a stand-alone 2,200-square-foot building on the west side of the property. According to Linn Companies, Noodles & Company has entered into a long-term lease agreement. They expect it to open in early 2024.

The next phase of development will be a 5,000-square-foot building that will be home to Linn Companie's own business concepts: A Tumble Fresh Coin Laundry and a Pet Fresh Dog Wash.
