When it comes to sightings of Bigfoot, Sasquatch, or as I like to call them, Stink Apes, there are believers and nonbelievers. I don't know about you, but I prefer to live in a world where these creatures exist, which is why I'm also curious when a sighting is reported.

Many others must feel the same way, which is why the Bigfoot Mapping Project exists. The Bigfoot Mapping Project is a crowd-sourced database and web application designed to collect and analyze Bigfoot sighting reports worldwide.

This platform allows researchers and enthusiasts to share and access sighting data in a standardized format, ultimately contributing to a better understanding of Bigfoot and its potential behavior.

It's understandable if you're a Bigfoot doubter, but one look at the Bigfoot Mapping Project map, which is filled with countless reported sightings, indicates that something is out there living in the woods.

Recently, a new sighting was reported and placed on the map, and this one was in a small city in Wisconsin with a recent population of under 4,000.

Bigfoot Sighting Reported In Wisconsin On May 26, 2025

According to the Chamber of Commerce, Chilton, Wisconsin, the county seat of Calumet County, is a family-friendly community. The city is home to award-winning schools, a superior park system, and is just about 30 minutes from all the major cities in eastern Wisconsin. Now, Chilton is also possibly home to Bigfoot.

A Bigfoot sighting reportedly occurred in Chilton on Monday, May 26, 2025. According to the report, the sighting of a black, 8-foot creature included hearing wood knocking and viewing footprints.

The report says it was a warm night, and the person filing the report and a friend were walking down a road for the fun of it when they saw an 8-foot creature walk, or nearly crawl, over the road.

"I froze in shock, like, what the hell am I supposed to do?" the person filing the report stated. Thankfully, they hadn't parked far away from where the sighting happened, so they quickly ran back to the truck with their hearts racing.

What exactly did they see? There could be a lot of speculation about this reported sighting, but the fact that large footprints and wood knocking were also involved means it could be Bigfoot.

The person filing the reports cautions anyone thinking they want to head to Chilton to investigate to be careful what they wish for. "You don't wanna find him", are the final words in the report.
