Otters Playing In The Snow + Photogenic Moose Calf Captured In Northern Minnesota Wildlife Camera
Sometimes you run across a video that is so cute, that you need to share it. I have to be honest, at first, I wasn't 100% sure what animal this was when I saw it slide across the snow. I didn't know these animals did that to get around.
Voyageur's Wolf Project in the Voyageur's National Forest shared a video showcasing wildlife from a trail cam in the remote wilderness of Northern Minnesota. It is a compilation of 1.5 months of footage.
In the footage, you'll see all sorts of animals including the otters, a black bear, a bobcat (I think?), wolves, and even a bald eagle.
Another big highlight of the video is seeing a mother moose and her calf.
I still can't get over how tall the grown moose are! It's crazy! But look at just how cute this calf is. She's a little photogenic if you ask me.
Many people commented on the video on YouTube mentioning how it was funny how this calf appeared to pose for the camera. Not long ago, Voyageur's Wolf Project shared a similar video where a moose got right up into the camera and gave it some nose boops. Bears are a little tougher on wildlife cameras and try to wreck them sometimes.
Check out the video and marvel at what beautiful wildlife we have here in Northern Minnesota. If you've never been to Voyaguer's National Park, it's definitely worth visiting. It's one of the most remote parks where you can actually feel like you're out in the wilderness on an adventure.
