PICS: See Inside Minnesota’s Vince Shute Wildlife Sanctuary
If you are looking for something fun and unique to do this summer, I have just the thing for you - and it's un-BEAR-ably cute.
I am obsessed with bears. They are my favorite animal and that is why I cannot get enough of the Vince Shute Wildlife Sanctuary in Orr.

Not only is it the perfect road trip distance from the Duluth area, but it's also a once-in-a-lifetime thing you really can't do anywhere.
You take a short bus ride from the entrance to the sanctuary itself, where you get to watch sweet bears eat while you stand on a platform. It's the best!

It is truly a surreal experience, as you get to be very close to these sweet bears but they are completely unphased by humans! They are just living their best life. That's what makes this place so great - and the bears so cute.

Take Norenburg for example. In October, staff with the Vince Shute Wildlife Sanctuary put out a BEAR-y cute post, asking the public to help feed Norenburg after he got injured and lost weight as a result.
