Some Of The Best Mexican Food I’ve Had In Duluth Came From Miller Hill Mall Food Court
I really like burrito bowls. I probably order at least one or two a month. It's the perfect lunch. Until now, I've been sticking to the big national chains because that's all I knew that was out there for a quick burrito to go. Today was a game-changer.
We were doing our St. Jude Radiothon to raise money for kids fighting cancer. We do it every year, and it's a big deal here. We all spend a lot of time at the studio and fortunately, sometimes businesses will bring us lunch. Sure, we thank them on air because it's awesome that they do that. But I don't share how good it is unless it really was. In this case, it really was that good.
El Burrito brought in lunch for us today. Enough to feed an army! Our engineer Randy is currently gorging himself in the break room because he can't stop eating it.
They brought us Chicken and Steak burritos and bowls. I had a steak burrito bowl, and it was wonderful. It had fresh ingredients, perfectly seasoned steak, crisp and crunchy lettuce, and smooth creamy rice. It was magnificent. The best part is they were filling!
The burritos are enormous too. I would say they were definitely heavier than most. My co-host Lauren could only eat less than half of hers, she got so full.
They've got great reviews on DoorDash too. They have a 4.6/5 rating from around 500 reviews. That's pretty darn good. Also, there are a lot of times you can't get delivery from DoorDash for a good burrito bowl. I know because I've tried. I'll have to give El Burrito a shot very soon. It was tasty!
El Burrito is located in the Food Court at the Miller Hill Mall. It's actually in the same place as Taco John's used to be. They've been there for a couple of years. I'm bummed I didn't know about them sooner.
