The Walk To End Alzheimer's is happening in Duluth and all area residents are invited to attend to raise awareness and money for this great cause.

The Walk To End Alzheimer's is the biggest event dedicated to care, support and research for the disease and happens all across the nation.

Now you can join in when the walk takes place on Saturday, September 7th at the DECC.

The walk will happen at the Pioneer Hall part of the DECC, located at 350 Harbor Drive. This event is family-friendly so you can even bring your young ones.

What exactly do the funds raised do for the Alzheimer's Association? It allows them to host local classes and support groups for the area, along with providing resources. Donations also help fund research of the disease.

Check in for the event happens at 1 p.m. and there will be an opening ceremony at 2 p.m. The walk will follow shortly after.
