
‘Widespread Snow’ Forecast For Minnesota This Week
Winter has really been picking up lately, especially after a pretty mild start that included very little snow and mild temperatures.
February is shaping up to be the month that things shift more towards the winter feel we are so used to here in the Northland.

At the time of writing, we are expecting widespread snow to hit the Duluth area on Wednesday (February 5th) and into Thursday, before tapering off.
The National Weather Service of Duluth shared details of what we can expect in the area on social media.
According to their forecast, there are strong chances for snow to hit Wednesday evening and into your Thursday commute. Most of the Northland will see at least a few inches of snow, enough to impact your drives to and from work.

That's not all, though! The National Weather Service of Duluth also shared that some locally higher amounts of snow are possble, and that winds will lead to blowing snow and poor visibility at times.
While we aren't expecting a major dumping of snow, it will be enough to make your day a little more chaotic so make sure you are prepared!

WDIO also shared details of the impending storm, forecasting up to six inches for the Duluth area. As we all know living in the Northland, anything can happen between now and when the snow is set to arrive.
