
Did Hooters Just Close The Last Wisconsin Location?
Hooters Restaurant just abruptly closed 30 locations, but they've kept quiet about the official closings. However, some people are reporting that the very last Hooters location left in Wisconsin has now closed.
Hooters calls the decision to close the 30 stores a difficult decision, according to USA Today:
"Hooters will be well-positioned to continue our iconic legacy under a pure franchise business model, "We are committed to supporting our impacted team members throughout this process and are incredibly grateful to our valued customers for their loyalty and dedication to the Hooters brand."
Hooters Filed For Bankruptcy
In March, Hooters filed for bankruptcy. The company has been facing challenges like many other restaurants that have needed to adapt to high labor costs, fewer customers, and inflation. Closures were not announced as part of the bankruptcy.

Last Hooters Restaurant In Wisconsin
Hooters has had multiple locations in Wisconsin over the years, located in cities like Green Bay, Brookfield, Grand Chute, and others. Those were all previously closed. The only remaining Hooters in Wisconsin was in Madison at 2639 E Springs Dr.
Yelpers are now saying that the location has closed. There is no recorded message when you call saying it's closed, like some locations. However, nobody answers the phone, and the doors remain closed.

Also, the Hooters website, the Madison location is not listed. Only one location remains in Minnesota at the Mall of America.
