Two legendary headliners from the 1970's and 1980's are coming to Minnesota for a concert in 2023.

U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis took the unusual strategy of having a public news conference to announce that Billy Joel and Stevie Nicks will co-headline a one-night show at the venue on Friday, November 10.  The public announcement - complete with Minnesota Vikings cheerleaders - was the payoff for a media blitz that teased that "they'd reveal the artists for 'one of this year's biggest concerts'".

Tickets will be available for presale in three different configurations prior to general sales:

  • Citi Presale - available to those with a Cite credit card or a Citi Master Card debit card - starts Monday, January 9
  • Venue Presale - available only at U.S. Bank Stadium in the Twin Cities - starts Tuesday, January 10
  • Live Nation Presale - accessible through Live Nation ticketing - starts Thursday, January 12.

General ticket sales will be available to the public starting Friday, January 13 - starting at 10:00 AM.

Although the two icons are touring together in 2023, the scheduled show at U.S. Bank Stadium marks the only time that they will be performing together in Minnesota.

U.S. Bank Stadium, NIcks, and Joel each took to their Facebook pages to promote the announcement.

Stevie Nicks was one of the front lead singers for the legendary Fleetwood Mac, before embarking on a solo career in the 1980's.  Even while she released solo music, Nicks continued to work with her Fleetwood Mac band members on assorted albums and concert tours.

Meanwhile, Billy Joel has sold millions of records with a career spanning the last 50 years.  He is widely considered one of the "best selling music artists of all time".
