One particular Duluth neighborhood continues to be a hotspot for new food and beverage businesses. The Lincoln Park Craft District is home to OMC, Burger Paradox, Duluth Tap Exchange, Duluth Cider, Ursa Minor, Love Creamery, and a number of other establishments that have popped up in recent years.

A new fast-casual eatery that will focus on soups and salads will join that fray later this year.

Cori Zastera recently shared a post on Instagram, highlighting a clear visual sign of this new addition to the Lincoln Park business community. That photo displayed a sign that simply reads "Ritual Salad" followed by the words "coming soon".

That sign was hung on Superior Street at the old Dinehery Fence location at 1802 W. Superior Street. The location is right next to Hungry Hippie Tacos, which opened in 2022.

According to Perfect Duluth Day, Cori will lease the space from a Hermantown company called ALN Properties LLC which purchased the property earlier this year. Ritual Salad will occupy the former office space of Dinehery Fence, while there is no announced plan for the warehouse building that also occupies the property.

The information Perfect Duluth Day gathered while talking to Cori about Ritual Salad says that they will remodel the former office space with plans of opening later this fall.

The business will feature healthy salad options and soups, along with a selection of gifts that fit the theme of the eatery. Customers will have a choice of roughly 30 different toppings, including dressings and protein options. Cori plans to locally source the greens and vegetables, with soups in the plan to be added for the colder winter months.

Aside from food, the owner also says the place will be somewhere that is "good for the soul". The owner says she wants the space to feel cozy and offer a spiritual theme that is "based on the mystical, metaphysical world". The cozy feeling will come somewhat naturally, as the space will only provide seating for 8 people. Year-round outdoor seating is also in the plans, complete with fire pits and warming stations, which will enhance the room customers will have to dine.

When it comes to when Cori hopes to see the business open, her hope is for Halloween weekend. She told Perfect Duluth Day they plan to hold a soft opening in early October, with plans to fully open after starting to welcome customers during that soft launch period.
