Green Bay Packers Announce ‘Official Nugget’, And It Isn’t What You’re Thinking
When you hear that the Green Bay Packers have announced a new "official nugget" of the team, you'd probably think it is a cheese nugget of some form. I mean, Wisconsin and cheese go hand-in-hand, right?
I mean, Kwik Trip has cheese nuggets regularly available. Is it something like that?
Well, there is cheese involved, but it goes way beyond just cheese for the new "official protein of the Green Bay Packers".
In a new partnership announced on September 2, the Packers revealed they are teaming up with Tyson Foods for a new food item that will be available at Lambeau Field as well as in stores so you can enjoy it at home.
The food? Football-shaped, Packers-themed chicken nuggets.
The new "Packers Cheesy Nuggets" are just what you'd expect if you have a collaboration between a chicken nugget brand and Wisconsin's pro football team.
Tyson describes these special nuggets as "crafted from all-white meat chicken and infused with cheddar cheese". The cheesy football-shaped chicken nuggets have been named the "Official Protein of the Green Bay Packers", including 11 grams of protein per serving.

The new cheesy nuggs will be available both at Lambeau and in stores to enjoy at home.
If you're looking for these Packers Nuggets at Lambeau Field, they will be available at concessions locations that include spots in sections 116, 121, 340, and 642.
If you want to have some of these Packers Nuggets at home, Tyson says they will be available in select retailers regionally, starting on Friday, September 5. In the media release about the new product, they say you'll be able to find stores where these nuggets are available via the Tyson website.
As of today (the day before the release), the new product is not listed to find yet, but it is expected that you'll be able to get these Packers-themed nuggets at retailers around Wisconsin where you find other Tyson products.
