America Haunts defines a legendary haunted attraction as an experience that "possess a unique combination of longevity, the ability to continuously innovate, and the power to create immersive experiences that leave an indelible mark on visitors."
Located about 30 miles north of the Twin Cities in the small town of Wyoming is the #2 most legendary haunt on their list, The Dead End Hayride.
The Dead End Hayride, which is located at Pinehaven Farm, has been scaring the crap out of people since 2009. What started out as a simple pumpkin patch and petting zoo event in the fall for families, is now one of the biggest, and best Halloween attractions in the country.
Visitors to the Dead End Hayride will not only enjoy the haunted hayride through the 40-acre farm, but they also have a handful of themed haunted houses, vendors, and other activities during the Halloween season.
America Haunts says, the "Dead End Hayride is a staple in the haunted attraction world with its dynamic settings and pulse-pounding encounters."
Rounding off the top 5 list, at number one was NETHERWORLD Haunted House in Atlanta, The 13th Gate in Baton Rouge came in third, Cutting Edge Haunted House in Fort Worth is in 4th, and Beast Haunted Attraction in Kansas City wraps up the top 5.
