Duluth’s Free ‘Music On The Ship’ 2025 Concert Series Lineup Announced
After the success of last year's inaugural season of the "Music on the Ship" concert series aboard the William A. Irvin in Duluth's Canal Park, organizers announced it will return again this summer!
The free music series will include a handful of dates through the 2025 summer season, where a musical act will perform on top of the William A. Irvin. You can't get much more uniquely "Duluth" than that, can you?
This free concert series is similar to Glensheen's "Concerts on the Pier", which offers another series of free summer concerts in a unique venue on Wednesdays. That's two nights of great free live outdoor music in Duluth to enjoy!

The 2025 "Music on the Ship' season will feature four different concerts, each of which is free to attend. Guests will be able to board the ship starting at 6:30, with music starting atop the Irvin's spar deck at 7 pm for each of these shows.
While people can also enjoy the music from the sidewalk along the side of the ship (or on a kayak like these people did last year), it is worth noting that they do limit the number of people who can board the ship for the shows due to the amount of room available.
The ship, which the DECC manages, will allow up to 140 people aboard for each show, so you'll want to get there a little early if you want to enjoy the music aboard the Irvin. Visitors are encouraged to bring bag chairs, but other forms of seating (like folding chairs or other less-portable options) are not permitted.
This summer's series of family-friendly shows includes something different each week. Here's the lineup for this year.
