The Duluth Playhouse is celebrating its 110th Anniversary with a lineup of new productions that they've never produced before.

Coming up with the 2024–2025 lineup included asking the community for input, in which they got over 1,800 responses, they also looked at other factors like, "artistic excellence, thematic diversity, and the capacity to inspire and challenge."

The list of productions is fun and diverse, which should make for a memorable season, the lineup includes:

  • Jersey Boys - September 13th - 29th
  • Cinderella - December 6th - 22nd
  • The One-Act Play That Goes Wrong - January 31st - February 9th
  • The Light in the Piazza - March 14th - 30th
  • Home, I’m Darling - May 23rd - June 1st
  • Waitress - July 11th - July 27th

Producing Artistic Director Phillip Fazio says, "For our 110th anniversary season, the Playhouse has chosen a collection of stories about optimistic dreamers who are keeping hope alive in an unpredictable world. Our goal was to select works from a variety of genres that provide a fresh perspective on characters who achieve the impossible to make their dreams come true."

Tickets for the 2024-2025 season will come at a later date, but the Duluth Playhouse says the best way to secure your tickets is to become a member, members will get early access to tickets, discounts, and other perks throughout the year. They offer a gold, silver, youth membership packages, and their underground membership. Prices range from $70 to $285.

The Duluth Playhouse has two more production in their current season, Peter and the Starcatcher runs from May 24th through June 2nd, and 9 to 5 The Musical runs July 12th through July 28th.
