See Where These 13 Minnesota Celebrities Went to High School
Did you go to school with any of these celebrities? I thought it would be fun to see where Minnesota celebrities went to school.
Unfortunately, a lot of the stars that were born in Minnesota moved away when they were young, so they didn't get to attend high school in the state of 10,000 lakes. I also left out a certain Hibbing Musician due to being on bad terms (who really knows the story, but he still didn't make my list).
Check out the gallery below and see where your favorite Minnesotan celebrities went to school:
Prince
Prince, the artist formerly known as Prince, the symbol, or whatever the 'Purple Rain' superstar goes by these days attended Central High School in Minneapolis where he made a band with his cousins called Grand Central. I think it was a good thing he went solo.
Sean William Scott
The lovable bad boy known to most as Stifler from the 'American Pie' movies grew up in Cottage Grove and went to Park High School.
Jessica Lange
A long time before her roles in 'American Horror Story' Jessica could be seen walking down the hallways of Cloquet High School.
Joel & Ethan Coen
When the Coen brothers aren't busy writing and directing movies like 'Fargo' and 'The Big Lebowski' they are reminiscing about their times at St. Louis Park High School.
Josh Harnett
Harnett got his start in '98 starring as Jamie Lee Curtis's son in 'Halloween H20' and the rest is history. Growing up Roman Catholic he attended Cretin-Derham Hall High School, but transferred to South High School in Minneapolis where he graduated.
Vincent Kartheiser
Vincent most known for his role as Pete Campbell in AMC's 'Mad Men' went to Apple Valley High School but dropped out to pursue a career in acting and it eventually paid off.
Rachael Leigh Cook
Cook was big in the late '90s and early 2000s with 'She's All That' and 'Josie and the Pussycats'. Before she was a pop rock singer with cat ears and a tail, she attended Minneapolis South High School.
Nick Swardson
Before he met Adam Sandler and had his own stand-up specials, comedian Nick Swardson was busy being the class clown at Saint Paul Central High School.
Jesse 'The Body' Ventura
Ventura has been a professional wrestler, the Governor of Minnesota, fought alongside Arnold Schwarzenegger in 'Predator', and is a graduate of Roosevelt High School in Minneapolis.
Kris Humphries
Before he was playing in the NBA and married a Kardashian for a whole ten minutes, Humphries was dominating the basketball court for Hopkins High School in Minnetonka.
Steve Zahn
Zahn's career started in 1994 when he was cast in 'Reality Bites', from there the funny man who has a distinct voice has been getting roles ever since. Born in Marshall Minnesota and attended Robbinsdale Cooper High School in New Hope.
C.J. Ham
Going to Denfeld High School myself, I couldn't live Duluth native Ham off the list. From playing football at Public Schools Stadium, you can now see him playing at US Bank Stadium as the starting fullback for the Minnesota Vikings.
