Central MN Restaurant Celebrating As It Turns 100 This Month!

Turning 100 is a pretty big deal. A Central Minnesota restaurant is turning 100 this month, and they are celebrating in a big way. Travelers Inn Restaurant posted the momentous celebration on social media.

100. Can you imagine how many pancakes? Eggs? We’re gonna get together and celebrate Travelers Inn because 100 years in our line of work is pretty damn special no matter where you are. We couldn’t be happier to be right here. In the best community in America. Come raise a glass, eat a burger, listen to some great tunes and dunk a Sieve in the dunk tank. Done by 8 so we can puts kids down. The Travs family, current and previous, could not thank you all enough for your patronage over all of these years. In the immortal words of my father Jon, “ONWARD THROUGH THE FOG!” See you in 2 weeks!

Owning a business that has survived 100 years is a big deal, and it's been run by one family now for about half of that time.

Some of the specials that are being offered by Travelers Inn are $1 cheeseburgers, some 'libations', and a dunk tank.

The event will run May 15th from 5 to 8pm, behind the Travelers Inn building.
