Have It Your Way! MN’s First Build Your Own Charcuterie Bar Is Open
I knew charcuterie boards were still a big thing, my wife has a cousin that has a whole side hustle that involves charcuterie boards. Well if you are a fan, Minnesota now has it's first build-your-own charcuterie bar, that opened up just 90 minutes from St. Cloud.
UpNorth's Social Tasting and Grazing Room offers different types of Charcuterie elements for those looking to make their own snack board. In addition to the fun charcuterie action, there is a self-serve tap wall, like what we used to have in downtown with Whit's Craft.
UpNorth also offers salads and sandwiches. According to their website, UpNorth offers:
"UpNorth Social was born from a passion for great food, community, and memorable experiences. We wanted to create a space where people could come together, explore a variety of flavors, and enjoy each other’s company in a beautifully designed and welcoming environment. With our innovative self-pour taproom featuring local craft brews and specialty wines, and our customizable charcuterie options, we offer something truly special for every guest."
UpNorth is about 90 minutes from St. Cloud in Crosslake.
According to the restaurant's website, the taproom isn't quite open yet, but it doesn't seem like it will take much longer, judging by the photos on the restaurant's social media page.
The charcuterie bar/self-pour location is open starting at 11am most days, and stays open until 7 or 8pm. You can follow UpNorth for more information on hours, including weekends, by heading here.
