Rochester, MN (KROC-AM News)- Two drivers were taken to a hospital following a crash Tuesday at a busy Rochester-area interchange.

Two vehicles were involved. The State Patrol and other agencies responded to the collision shortly before 2:15 p.m. 

The two-vehicle crash occurred at the Interstate 90 and Hwy. 52 interchange just southeast of Rochester

A car was turning left to enter the onramp for westbound I-90 from southbound Hwy. 52 and was struck by a SUV traveling north on Hwy. 52 in the intersection, the state crash report says.

52-year-old Cory Edwin Mansicka of Rochester was driving the car. The SUV was driven by 71-year-old Thomas Kenneth Wooner of Rochester

Both drivers were taken to St. Mary’s Hospital in Rochester for treatment of what are being described as non-life-threatening injuries.

Mansicka and Wooner were both buckled up and alcohol was not involved in the crash, according to the crash report. 

The Olmsted County Sheriff’s Office, Rochester Fire Department and Mayo Clinic Ambulance also responded to the crash scene.
