(UPDATED) - The Minnesota BCA is reporting that Mr. Elliot has been located and is safe.
Duluth, MN (KROC-AM News)- A Wisconsin man who disappeared after leaving work in northern Minnesota is now the subject of a statewide Missing Person Alert.

He has not been seen since Wednesday morning. The Minnesota Bureau of Criminal Apprehension issued the alert on Thursday morning. 

62-year-old Richard Elliot is identified as the missing man. Authorities say he left his home in Superior, WI for work in Duluth on Wednesday morning.

Wisconsin Man Vanishes After Leaving Work in Duluth, MN

After work he went to a Duluth church then to the Duluth Transit Authority to try and get a bus ride back to Superior. He has not been seen or heard from since, the alert says. 

Elliot is described as six-feet tall, 145 pounds with black hair and hazel eyes. He was last seen wearing a dark colored winter hat, gray face mask, glasses, a gray zip-up jacket, jeans and camo hiking boots. 

Anyone who may have seen Elliot or has knowledge regarding his whereabouts is asked to contact the Superior, WI Police Department at 715-395-7231.
