Dexter, MN (KROC-AM News) - The Minnesota State Patrol says four people were injured Saturday evening when two motorcycles struck a deer on I-90 southwest of Rochester.

The crash report indicates the incident was reported around 5:35 PM about a mile southwest of Dexter in Mower County. The State Patrol says both motorcycles were traveling east when the collision occurred.

Two of the injured motorcyclists were transported to St. Marys Hospital. They have been identified as 34-year-old Jacob Johnson of Emmons and 26-year-old Alexis Gullickson of Albert Lea. The two other motorcyclists, 35-year-old Anthony Woodraska of Emmons,and 36-year-old Maria Alvarado of Andrews, Texas were also injured but did not require transport to a hospital.

Johnson and Gullickson were transported by Mayo Clinic ambulance to St. Marys Hospital in Rochester with what were described as non-life-threatening injuries.

The State Patrol crash report indicates none of the four motorcyclists were wearing helmets.
