
Woman Fatally Struck by Vehicle on Rural Minnesota Road
Meadowlands, MN (KROC-AM News)- A woman lost her life after being run over by a vehicle on a rural northern Minnesota road.

That’s according to a news release issued by the St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office.
First responders were dispatched to the deadly traffic incident shortly before 7:00 Friday evening.

Woman Killed After Being Run Over by Vehicle in Northern Minnesota, Investigation Underway
The woman was fatally run over in the 7800 Block of Blue Spruce Rd., which is about 40 miles northwest of Duluth.
Emergency responders administered life-saving care upon their arrival but the woman was pronounced dead at the scene, the news release says.
Authorities say all the parties involved have been identified. The preliminary investigation indicates the fatality appears to be unintentional, according to the news release.
The name of the woman killed is being withheld pending family notification. Authorities have not yet released the identity of the driver.
The investigation, which is being conducted by the St. Louis County Sheriff’s Office and Midwest Medical Examiner's Office, is ongoing.
