Bears Are the Big News in Minnesota Today!

Looks like the big news today is BEARS in Minnesota!  A mom and four cubs went viral on Wednesday after they were caught on video in the Land of 10,000 Lakes.  Now, a popular zoo has announced that they are new the home for a black bear.

Popular Zoo in Minnesota Announces a New Resident: Black Bear!

A zoo in Southeast Minnesota that many families and residents love to explore is located just outside of Byron, Minnesota and is minutes away from Rochester.  Oxbow Park and Zollman Zoo is located at 5731 County Rd 105 NW (Get Directions), just announced that they have a new addition!  A two-year-old black bear has joined their family.

We can BEAR-ly contain our excitement! The Zollman Zoo has a new resident black bear! She is two years old and came from Bear Country USA in South Dakota. 144,000 Bugs Being Released at the Mall of America

You may be scratching your head and wondering why the MOA is letting bugs go inside their giant mall.  If so, it is for a really good reason.  In fact, when you were at the Mall of America last, you were probably sitting near a few bugs because this is something they do every single year around April.  This year, for the first time ever, the Mall of America is inviting the public to help as 144,000 ladybugs are released inside.  Learn more about this fun (and helpful) event and why ladybugs are released.
