Minnesota pups might be in for a serious upgrade.

A brand new dog hotel might be headed our way, and this isn’t just a place to drop off your pup, it’s more like a full-blown vacation. We’re talking next-level perks like a full-service spa, interactive daycare, overnight suites, grooming services, and even a dog wash station.

Everything we do, we do for our customers—the dogs. Every dog. Any breed. All shapes and sizes. We’re on their schedules, not the other way around. We build out our space from the dog’s point-of-view, because here, even underdogs are top dogs. And every dog deserves to be part of a pack.

Not only is it built for tail-wagging fun, but the proposed 5,400 square foot facility would also double as overflow housing for local shelters, giving rescue dogs a cozy place to land. How amazing is that?!

There would be room for about 60 dogs, with five playrooms, up to 35 private overnight areas, and plenty of space for staff. Think cozy boarding meets full-service pup retreat.

While this dog-centric paradise already exists in several other states, this would be the very first location in Minnesota. And according to Business Insider, the Burnsville Planning Commission has recommended the proposal for approval, making the plan one big step closer to reality.

If your dog goes home tired, dirty, and a little smelly, he’s had a good day at Hounds Town! Our goal is to provide dogs with a place to interact as naturally as they would in the wild, and to give customers their money’s worth each day. -Hounds Town

Now, we're just waiting on construction details and an opening date. It will be located at 12255 Nicollet Ave. S in Burnsville. For more info about Hounds Town USA, click here.
