Every year motorcycle and scooter riders across the world have a day dedicated to riding to work.  2020 marks the twenty-ninth year of the international "Ride to Work Day".  Even if you are working from home currently due to the global pandemic, you are encouraged if possible and practical to at least get out for a ride.

Ride to Work is a 501 c4 non-profit organization that advocates for and supports the use of motorcycles and scooters for transportation.  They also help provide information about the utility of everyday riding to the general public.

For Ride to Work Day, there is no meet-up point, no designated start or stop time, and it's not a group ride.  Though sometimes groups do get together on this day.  Remember if you are involved in a group event, keep the social distancing in mind.

Motorcycles and scooters are a great way to commute.  They generally get better gas mileage that cars and are thus better for the environment, and they can be more fun to commute on too.  For more details on the organization including this and other planned events, merchandise, their newsletter and more, you can check them out here.  There is also a Facebook event page which can fill you in on social media tags to use for the event and help connect you with other riders in your area here.
