Learn About Duluth’s History At Glensheen
Titled "Zenith City On Tap", the event is a series of talks that explore the history of Duluth. Publisher of Duluth's Zenith City Press, Tony Dierckins who is also a historian will focus on several aspects of early Duluth.
The upcoming talk this week will go into detail on how the area became the "Twin Ports". Also exploring why the area is called "The Northland" today and why it was called the "Head of Lakes".
This event title for the evening is: "Becoming the Twin Ports: Duluth & Superior, 1855 through 1910" and it is free to attend. There will also be a cash bar with various local beers and wine available for purchase to enjoy as you learn more about the region.
