What an honor!

Online website Big Seven Travel has named Minnesota the friendliest state in the country and I can't say i'm surprised!

According to the site, Minnesota took the top spot for one simple reason: what they dub as "extraordinarily friendly residents."

They went into more detail, writing "It’s called ‘Minnesota Nice’ for a reason – the atmosphere in the Twin Cities and beyond is hard to match, with a homey feel and locals who go the extra mile to welcome tourists."

It is true! Minnesota Nice is a real thing. Any time a friend has come to visit, they have mentioned without fail how kind and sweet our residents are.

The only downside to being Minnesota Nice is the Minnesota Goodbye! It takes up too much time and I am definitely guilty of it.

By the way - Wisconsin didn't fare too poorly! The state was named #26 which means they are neutral. They aren't too friendly but they also aren't meanies. Ha!
