Minnesota Named One Of The Happiest States In America

Don't worry, be happy! Minnesotans are.

According to a new study put out by Wallet Hub, Minnesota is one of the happiest states in the country. How happy? The third happiest in the entire United States.

To get the rankings, Wallet Hub looked at a variety of factors like depression rates in adults, hours worked, income growth, divorce rates, safety and more.

Minnesota has one of the highest volunteer rates and one of the lowest divorce rates. Minnesota is also named the safest state in the whole country.

The Land of 10,000 Lakes also ranked high in terms of emotional and physical well-being of residents and work environment conditions.

Minnesota's ranking isn't a huge surprise. We came in at number three last year, too.

In case you were wondering - Wisconsin ranked right in the middle, coming in at number 25 this year. This isn't great news as last year, Wisconsin was named the eleventh happiest state. There's always next year!!
