After getting rejected by a marriage proposal, a Minnesota woman sped off in a Hummer with a man hanging on to the roof-rack.

According to the Pioneer Press and authorities, Panhia Vang injured a friend after he rejected her marriage proposal and sped off in a Hummer with the man who rejected the proposal hanging onto the roof-deck of the vehicle. No I am not making this up.

Around 3 a.m. on Sunday morning, Vang and and another passenger were getting a sober ride to White Bear Lake from a friend along with another person driving Vang's vehicle following them. Once they reached their destination, Vang asked the man if she would marry her. After getting rejected, the man got out of the vehicle. Instead of also getting out, Vang slipped over to the driver's seat and sped off.

The man ended up following her in Vang's vehicle with another person and eventually Vang pulled over. The man then went up to the Hummer and started demanding that she get out of the vehicle. When the man put his hands on the roof rack of the Hummer, Vang took off once again.

For some reason it seems as if the man hung on to the roof rack as Vang got the vehicle up to a reported 80 mph and eventually fell off. When he regained consciousness, hw was lying next to guardrails and was driven to the hospital by the other person who was tailing the Hummer in Vang's vehicle.

Vang was charged on Tuesday with one count of theft of a motor vehicle and two counts of criminal vehicular operation resulting in substantial bodily harm.
