Northland disc golf enthusiasts received great news from Duluth Parks and Recreation with the grand reopening of the course at Morgan Park on August 7 at 4:00 p.m.

The announcement was made in partnership with the Lake Superior Disc Golf Community and an anonymous donor from the Morgan Park Community Club.

According to their press release, a member of the Morgan Park Community Club contacted the Parks and Recreation Division in Spring 2018 with a mission to
partner with the Lake Superior Disc Golf Community and Parks and Recreation to replace the baskets and realign the course to better suit the park infrastructure and avoid holes that played through populated areas such as the playground.

New baskets were then in stalled on August 2 and the course is now ready for the public.

If you've never played disc golf, it's played a lot like traditional golf except rather than using golf clubs and golf balls, you throw a disc.  Follow the link below to find out how to play.
