New Restaurant is Now Open In Superior Serving Mexican Cuisine

It is always nice to see a new local business pop up in the area, and by all accounts this new restaurant should be a big success given the fact that this will be the third one that they have, but first in the Twin Ports.

Welcome La Tequila Mexican Restaurant which opened Monday at 5802 Tower Avenue in Superior in the old 58th Street Diner location. According to manager Brandy Flores their opening day which was this past Monday hailed a much bigger crowd than expected which is always a good sign.

Carlos Escobedo who's son Luis owns the  Superior restaurant said "We’re excited to be here. A lot of people know us from Hayward, so everybody comes and say ‘hi’ and ‘congratulations!"  The first El Tequila restaurant opened in Hayward seven years ago and two years ago, a second El Tequila restaurant opened in Spooner. Escobedo's son wanted to open the restaurant in Superior due to the fact that so many people from the Twin Ports would stop in their restaurant in Hayward.
