Northland Bikers For Breast Cancer Run September 11
Bikers from around the region will again converge on Morgan's Checkerboard for the annual Bike run for awareness and to raise funds.
The event is passionately called Bikers for Boobs will take place Saturday, September 11th. Registration begins at 9 am with the kickstands going up at noon. You can find Morgan's Checkerboard Bar at 3957 S. Country Road E in South Range Wisconsin.
The event costs $20 per person and only $10 if you want dinner only and raises money for St. Luke's Breast Cancer Department and for Essentia Health. There will be a raffle, a 50/50, door prizes, and silent auction, and more. The money goes to cover travel expenses, lodging, meals, childcare, and so many other costs that people don't realize the family has to cover in order to support their loved ones while they fight cancer.
This is another year the ATV/UTV route is added for those who want to use it. There is camping available on site. When everyone gets back to the Checkerboard later that night there will be all sorts of events to raise money. Dinner is served at 5 pm with the drawings at 7 pm. There will be live music by BANTIX also at 7 pm
Cars, bikes, trucks, sport utility vehicles, Volkswagons, and any other vehicle you can drive are welcome on the run but are asked to drive in the back of the bikes for safety reasons. You can donate to the ride even if you don't want to go. You can also buy shirts and other items at the after-party at Morgan's Checkerboard.
Everyone can bring masks, but they are not required.
