Popular Travel Vlogger Does 90 Second Video Montage Of Trip To Duluth
It's interesting to see what people have to say about their trips to the Northland. The Twin Ports is a beautiful place, but sometimes we tend to forget in our busy lives just how lucky we are to live here. So many friends from out of town come to visit us because of where we live, let's be honest. We've all hosted friends or family and have shown them around.
I stumbled on this travel vlogger who just recently visited Duluth and shot a bunch of videos. She then edited the whole trip down to just 90 seconds. Her name is Makayla Samountry and she has nearly 100,000 subscribers on YouTube.
We're able to see that she and her companion checked a lot of the "visiting Duluth boxes."
Of course, there are some strolls along the Lakewalk.
The Duluth visit for most involves checking out one of our awesome craft breweries. and ordering a flight.
They also took a drive up the North Shore Scenic Drive and actually drove far enough up the shore to enjoy it, unlike a confused tourist I ran into recently.
They spent time in Canal park and walked out to see the Lift Bridge go up and down, which is a tourist "must-do item" in Duluth.
It also appears they did some hiking and got to see some of the falls.
Makayla loves Duluth and she had some pretty nice things to say about it in the comment section. She adds a spiritual note to her video:
if destinations hold spirits, this one is full of ghosts, memories and swarming energies of love.
Check out the 90-second clip and see Duluth from the eyes of a travel vlogger.
