I don't think anyone can blame them for this one. Even though their creed is "Neither snow nor rain nor heat nor gloom of night stays these couriers", dangerous cold is going to stop postal service on Wednesday. KSTP TV is reporting that mail service will be suspended in Minnesota, Western Wisconsin, Iowa, and Western Illinois on Wednesday, January 30 due to the dangerous wind chills that have already closed most schools around the region.

This suspension of delivery and pick up service includes all residential and commercial pick up and delivery not only from individual mailboxes, but also from public mail collection boxes.

While delivery services will be suspended, retail services at post office locations will still be available, but may be limited on Wednesday.
