The Vikings are officially done with the 2020 - 21 campaign, and it looks like the off season changes will begin soon. is reporting that 59-year-old Vikings' offensive coordinator Gary Kubiak will retire after only one year as the assistant head coach and offensive coordinator.

Kubiak joined the Vikings as the assistant head coach and offensive consultant before the 2109 - 2020 season and was made the OC after Kevin Stefanski was hired as the Browns head coach.

This will leave the Vikings having to search for yet another offensive coordinator after names like John DeFilippo, Pat Shurmur, and Norv Turner have come and gone within the last 5 years.

The Vikings' offense is ranked fourth in the NFL, QB Kirk Cousins threw for a career high 35 touchdowns, RB Dalvin Cook ran for a career high 1,557 yards and rookie WR Justin Jefferson broke all kinds of records in a break out season.

Kubiak will retire for the second time, he retired from coaching in the NFL after winning the Super Bowl as the Bronco's head coach. Before the Bronco's job, Kubiak was the head coach of the Houson Texans from 2006 - 2013. Kubiak's son, Klint, is the current quarterback's coach of the Vikings.
