Report: Northland Will See First Snowfall In Early November

To be honest, this could be a lot worse! According to the Old Farmer's Almanac, we will be seeing our first snowfall in early November.

Anything is possible when it comes to weather in the Northland and sometimes, that means snow early on in the fall and / or winter season. This year, if the predictions of the Old Farmer's Almanac come true, the snow should hold off until November. This is very welcome news in a year like 2020.

Their predictions state we will see our first period of snow sometime between November 1st through the seventh. During this time period, we will see showers turning to snow. The Old Farmer's Almanac is then predicting a few days off from the snow before rain turns to snow once again mid-month.

From there, winter will go on full-steam ahead with snow showers and flurries marking the rest of the month. Like I said, this could be a lot worse since we know it is normal for it to snow in November.

You better get outside and enjoy before the winter weather really does strike. The Old Farmer's Almanac is predicting a pretty mild October for the most part. It wouldn't be out of the question to see some snow in October so I am glad they aren't predicting any this time around!

2020 has definitely been an interesting year when it comes to weather in the Northland. In fact, summer of 2020 brought about a major weather record: it was the second warmest summer on record! I wonder what winter will bring but I am good with waiting to find out.
