Star Wars: “The Rise Of SkyWalker” Review [No Spoilers]
My passion for space and sci-fi has always been there and while I wasn't quite old enough to be alive for the 1977 debut of Star Wars: A New Hope, I caught up pretty quickly.
Episode 9 in the original Star Wars Saga, only was released a few days ago, and much to my surprise scoring tickets only a day after it's official opening date was really easy. In fact, there might have only been a dozen or so people in the theater. Not sure where everyone was, maybe because it was a 10:30AM showtime or because it's the weekend before Christmas. Anyway, the less people in the theater is a win for me.
Without spoiling anything, I give the film a solid 2 thumbs up, 5 out of 5 stars, and no rotten tomatoes. I liked it, a lot. With Episode 8, there were some tweaks I personally would have made, with 9, I don't know what there is to change. It rounds out the Saga incredibly well. It gave me the feels all of the way through it, bringing me back to the first time I saw Episodes 4, 5, and 6. The story is well written with plenty of action to go along, and incredible orchestral music to flow with the film.
If you're even a small Star Wars fan, do yourself a favor and catch it in the theater, I'll be seeing it at least a couple of more times there.
