An announcer at a High School basketball game got on the microphone and yelled at the fans in the crowd and told them to "shut up!"

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Minnesota State High School League will limit the amount of attendees at upcoming State Tournaments. This begins on Friday, March 13th.

The 2014 March tournament season continues with Minnesota and Wisconsin Girls State Tournaments kicking off this week. The Northland has two representatives in Minneapolis and one in Green Bay as action kicks off this week.

The Minnesota High School Boys basketball tournament starts today but the Lakeview Christian Academy Lions will have to have to wait till Thursday to hit the hard court.

The Duluth East Greyounds went into the state boys hockey tournament on a roll, with 16 straight wins.

Northland high school basketball fans flocked to the Superior High School gym Monday night and when they got their there were joined by several Division one college scouts as well to watch Esko vs. Superior.  Two state ranked teams in girl’s basketball.
