Target Deal Days has been a popular summer shopping event, and this year it's even bigger. Retailers are offering some almost Black Friday level deals in the middle of summer. Amazon Prime moved their Prime Day this year earlier, as it usually takes place in July. Target is competing with the Amazon giant with their own extended deal days June 20-22.

According to Target people can go to Target.com on June 20-22 to get some special deals. They also say that they will be able to fulfill the deals on the same day with drive up and order pick up.

I know that my wife will be shopping as she loves the Target pick up orders and goes weekly to get her orders.

There's no membership fee required from Target, but there are some rewards programs that can help you save. For example, the Target Circle is their loyalty program where you can get extra deals, 1% earnings with your RedCard and more.

Target also is giving you an incentive to buy a Target Gift Card from June 16-19 leading up to Target Deal Days. Gift cards will be 5% off leading up.

According to WCCO, Target Deal Days will start a day earlier than Amazon's Prime Day. The reason for these deals moving up comes down to the fact that Amazon didn't want their Prime Day to fall during the Tokyo Summer Olympics, where people would be less likely to online shop.

Walmart is also planning their deals for days to coincide with Amazon's Prime Day. Walmart's will be June 20-23 and will feature lots of tech savings on laptops, TVS, and other electronics according to cnet.com.
