During Game 7 of the World Series last night, fans got a brand new surprise look at Star Wars: The Last Jedi — and with all this talk of darkness, light, and letting the past die, things look more ominous for our heroes than ever.

This trailer has many of the same shots as the trailer that came out a couple weeks ago, with some new ones peppered in, but it’s the narration here that’s the interesting part. Again, we hear Kylo Ren telling someone (probably Rey) to “let the past die” so that she can “become who you were meant to be.” Who is Rey meant to be?? What of the past is going to have to die for her to realize her potential?

And then we have Snoke intoning that “darkness rises, and light to meet it,” which probably means something very important in context, like, say, two Jedi from opposite sides of the Force allying themselves with each other. It definitely looks like Kylo Ren might get his wish of training Rey in the ways of the Force — so was this Snoke’s plan all along? And is Kylo turning to the Light side, or is Rey going over to the Dark? I honestly can’t decide which I would be more excited for.

That one line of Luke’s — “This is not going to go the way you think” — seems to be the main point all these trailers are trying to get across before we see the movie: whatever you expect from it, The Last Jedi is not gonna conform to any of your predictions. The trailers for this movie have been really good, but this one might be my favorite so far. The movie looks fun and dark and moody, and it’s not going to give us what we think it will.

Star Wars: The Last Jedi hits theaters December 15.
